22 Jan 2013 Abdominal ultrasonography (USG) showed calculi and a single polypoidal lesion (14.5 × 10 mm) in the fundus of the GB. A clinical diagnosis of
Extension of hypernephroma into the inferior vena cava was demonstrated by ultrasound. When a solid renal lesion is encountered, it is suggested that the inferior vena cava be scanned. The possible significance of gray scale scanning as a more precise diagnostic tool and its use in tumor staging are discussed.

They usually occur in 50-70-year old patients and macroscopic hematuria occurs in 60% of the cases. This disease is most common in patients between the ages of 50 and 70 but may be identified in any age group. Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is the most common form of renal malignancy in adults. RCC is also known as adenocarcinoma or hypernephroma.

The differential diagnosis includes renal cysts, renal metastatic disease, lymphoma, oncocytoma, adenoma, renal abscess, inflammatory pseudotumor, angiomyolipoma, and renal sarcoma. The recommended treatment for Renal Cell Cancer or Hypernephroma usually is nephrectomy or excision of the kidney. This may entail removal of the bladder, adjacent tissues, and lymph nodes. A definite cure for Renal Cell Cancer/Hypernephroma is quite unlikely unless and until the cancerous cells are completely removed from the body. The renal cell carcinoma (formerly hypernephroma) comprises approx. 85% of all malignant kidney tumors.
It is the most common malignant tumor of this organ.
Ultrasound demonstration of right atrial invasion by hypernephroma In 1975 Greene and Steinbach (1) demonstrated the inferior vena caval extension of hypernephroma by the use of B-mode ultrasound. Gosink (2) demonstrated the value of gray-scale ultrasound for evaluation of intrinsic and perivascular masses of the inferior vena cava.

2021-02-14 · If hypernephroma is suspected, an individual may have to undergo a CT scan for confirmation. Hypernephroma has several risk factors associated with it. They include smoking, abusing prescription pain pills, and abusing over-the-counter pain pill medications for an extended period of time. Other risk factors include a genetic predispo
